encouraged to take part in an annual
winter blanket run next weekend.
The Ulysses Club Mallee branch
(UCMB) is seeking riders to travel
across the Riverland collecting win-
ter items and cash donations.
Riders collect good-quality blan-
kets and bedding, warm clothing,
non-perishable foods and cash dona-

Kingston-On-Murray river-front plan key elements:
q Boat ramp upgrade, including the repair and
extension of the carpark, new pontoon, signage
and solar lighting. Project planned for 2018/19.
q Kerbing on River Terrace to control stormwa-
ter and access to the recreation area.
q Bench seating and shelters – the construction
of four new bench seats and tables for picnics.
q New playground and shade sail. Indicative
q River bank stabilisation.
q Planting of additional trees to increase shade.
q A potential expansion of the permanent
houseboat mooring area.
