range of quality human services to individuals,
families, and the community.
Riverland Domestic Violence Service provides
support and accommodation to women and children
experiencing domestic violence in the Riverland
We are seeking to employ a dynamic and committed
person to join an energetic and supportive team in the
provision of quality services from our office in Berri.
The Case Manager will be responsible for providing
case management support including transitional
housing, outreach, emergency accommodation,
crisis intervention (including an after-hours
response), advocacy, information and referrals. The
successful applicant will have enthusiasm in these
areas, demonstrated experience in working with
and engaging people in the community. Experience
in working with indigenous families and in rural
areas is highly desirable.
A Department of Community and Social Inclusion
Child Related Employment Screening Clearance is
essential for this position and a Driver’s Licence is
required. Applicants from Aboriginal backgrounds
are encouraged to apply.
● Degree in social work or equivalent.
Ability to travel intrastate to meetings and/or
training as directed by Manager.
Expertise in areas of domestic violence,
mental health, substance abuse,
homelessness and case management.
