If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Contract,
Procurement and Innovation Officer that will allow you
to demonstrate your skills and at the same time positively
impact our community.
Develop an annual procurement plan and oversee
Develop, implement and undertake a more centre
lead procurement function
Prepare contracts and specifications to assist staff in
their procurement responsibilities
Integrate the State Government Industry Advocate
“local purchase” provisions into our procurement
Provide general oversight to Councils Property Officer
With key staff, identify and over see the
implementation of opportunities for improvement in
delivery our of services
The position may be based in either our Loxton or Waikerie
offices with a requirement to work across the Council
area. Salary will be based on the South Australian Municipal
Salaried Officers Award, General Officers Stream and
Council’s Enterprise Bargaining Agreement classification
between Level 4 (step 1) and level 5 (step 1) with an annual
salary between $71,535 and $77,838 (commensurate with
your skills and knowledge).
