Select Harvests Ltd. (SHV) is Australia’s second largest almond grower and a
leading manufacturer, processor and marketer of nut products, health snacks and
muesli. We supply the Australian retail and industrial markets, in addition to
exporting almonds globally.
Our geographically diverse almond orchards are located in the Riverland,
Sunraysia and Riverina districts of South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales,
respectively. Our portfolio includes approximately 7,000 hectares of company
owned, leased and joint venture almond orchards.
This role will support the Technical and Farm Operations Team specifically
focusing on water, nutrition, pest and pollination management. The role will be
supporting our operations in the Sunraysia district of Victoria, accounting for
approximately 3,000 hectares of the company’s orchard portfolio.

Continuous improvement of agronomic farm practices to optimise yield,
quality and ultimately profitability.

company objectives through active participation and cooperation within a well-

Objectives include a strong commitment to primary focus on irrigation
operational support working with a project management team to develop
irrigation infrastructure on Greenfield projects, and working with technical/
irrigation staff to develop and facilitate an irrigation maintenance program.

approach, effective communication skills, drive and enthusiasm and the ability
